Dragon of the Inferno

Thoughts: You just don't mess with the classics. Red dragons are a fantasy staple, and those red dragons breathe red fire. This is just as sure as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. My goal with this one wasn't to break a ton of new ground, but to make sure I didn't wander too far away from people's expectations. The scale design is means to evoke a cracked and scorched landscape and the armor on it's stomach is reminiscent of an upper-jaw. The faeries themselves I wanted to be almost dancing and revelling in the flames. Perhaps they're born from the fire, or maybe just merely attracted to it.
